$30,000 in Debt

and all I get is "Operation Smarmy" the latest episode of "Desperate Presidents". The incompetence of these bastards is they can't even pull off a decent 'wag the dog'. So my $30,000 debt (thank you very much, Republicans) goes for a staged Air Assault on an empty village! Even the Reddest of the Red have to be totally embarassed. And MSM just swallows and begs for more.

For me, I don't have a spare $30,000 lying around, Exxon, Merck, and Walmart are all demanding more for less. Lets see if I can write $9,000,000,000,000 (N-I-N-E T-R-I-L-L-I-O-N), ninetrilliondollars. Anyway you spell it, it spells t-r-o-u-b-l-e for my fiscal conservative friends.

Operation Iraqi Freedom - $320 Billion, Deficits - as far as the eye can see, watching Republicans choke on their own deceit.......Priceless!

Go 'Head "Big Boy", Make My Day

Is Trent feeling his oats these days or what?

From the AP
Tensions between Republican lawmakers and the White House have reached an all-time high, say Republicans on Capitol Hill.President Bush's sagging poll numbers, the administration's handling of the Dubai port deal and lingering bad memories of Harriet Miers' failed Supreme Court nomination have left a broad spectrum of Republicans on Capitol Hill with little good will toward the White House."I was offended," Sen. Trent Lott, Mississippi Republican, said of Mr. Bush's threat last week to veto legislation aimed at stopping the transfer of port operations to a company owned by the United Arab Emirates. He said Mr. Bush "threatened me before I even knew the details of what was involved or whether I was going to vote for the bill or not."Mr. Lott said his immediate reaction was: "OK, big boy, I'll just vote to override your veto."He called the White House, he said, to advise administration officials that they'd run afoul of some of their strongest allies in Congress."Don't threaten me like that again," said the former majority leader, recounting the conversation with an official he declined to name. "It doesn't make a difference if you're a Republican or a Democrat. Don't put your fist in my face. Where I'm from, we're willing to fight back."

It appears the rats and herded cats are falling off the sinking USS Katrina Bush and only el Capitan and a few loyal swabbies remain on the Ship of Fools. Maybe Trent is sobering up from the Kool Aid he got in a Hurricane Glass, but too little, too late, I'm sad to say. Meanwhile, America is more divided and Iraq is on the brink of civil war. How about a chorus of "34 Red Balloons" (I know it's 99, but the Emir's approval numbers seem more appropriate)

Dubai, Dubai, Doooooooooo!
